Terms.
Last updated 2026-09-09. By using RetireSafe, you agree to these terms. If you don't, please don't use the service.
1. Service description
RetireSafe ("the service") is a retirement-planning calculator that simulates thousands of possible futures against inputs you provide. It produces probabilistic estimates of retirement outcomes.
The service is operated by Machine Learning Group E.E., a limited partnership registered in Greece, with its registered office at Anastasiou Gennadiou 19, 11474 Athens, Greece. General Commercial Registry (ΓΕΜΗ) number 179903503000. VAT number EL802631890. You can reach us at hello@retiresafe.io.
2. Not financial advice
The service is an analytical tool only. Output is not investment advice, not a recommendation, and not a forecast. Every projection it makes is hypothetical: it does not reflect actual investment results and it is not a guarantee of future outcomes.
We are not registered or licensed as an investment adviser, broker-dealer, or financial planner in the United States or in any other country, and we are not authorized to provide investment advice under EU investment services law (MiFID II, applied in Greece by law 4514/2018). The service never recommends buying or selling any specific security, fund, or other financial product, and using it does not create an advisory or fiduciary relationship between you and us. You should not make financial decisions based solely on the service's output. Consult a licensed financial advisor before acting on any retirement plan.
3. Accounts
You must be 18 or older to create an account or to purchase Premium. You may use the service anonymously (Free tier) without an account. Creating an account requires a working email address. You are responsible for any activity that takes place under your account. You may delete your account at any time from the account settings; see the privacy policy for retention details.
4. Premium licence
Premium is a one-time, non-recurring payment that grants you lifetime access to the Premium feature set on your account. It is unlocked on your account as soon as the payment completes. There is nothing to download and no key to enter. The licence is non-transferable and tied to your account, not to a device.
We sell Premium. The payment itself is taken by Link, a Stripe service, acting as merchant of record through Stripe's affiliate Sold through Link, LLC. That means Link is the company that charges your card, works out and collects any VAT or sales tax due where you live, sends your receipt, and answers questions about the charge. Your card statement shows LINK.COM* RETIRESAFE. Purchases made this way are also covered by Link's terms of service, in the section on purchases sold through Link.
5. Refunds
Any buyer, wherever you live, may request a full refund within 14 days of purchase. For consumers in the EU this is your statutory right of withdrawal; we extend the same 14-day window to everyone else as our policy. To request a refund, email hello@retiresafe.io with the order reference from your receipt. We issue the refund through Stripe and it goes back to the payment method you paid with, usually within a few business days. Link may also refund a purchase on its own within 60 days, for example if the payment was made without the cardholder's consent or Premium was never unlocked, under its refund policy.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to: (a) attempt to disrupt or compromise the service; (b) reverse-engineer the service to redistribute it; (c) use automated means to flood the service with requests; (d) use the service to provide advice to third parties as a business without our written consent.
7. Our content and yours
The service, the site, and everything on them that we wrote, from the simulation engine to the explainer texts, belong to Machine Learning Group E.E. or its licensors. We grant you a personal, non-transferable right to use the service under these terms; for Premium features, that right lasts as long as your Premium licence. You may not copy, resell, or redistribute the service or its content beyond what these terms allow.
Your inputs, your scenarios, and your results are yours. If you save a scenario to your account, you grant us only the limited right to store it and show it back to you, and that right ends when you delete the scenario or your account. We claim nothing else over your data; the privacy policy lists the few cases where any of it reaches us at all.
8. Suspension and termination
If you materially breach these terms, in particular the acceptable-use rules in section 6, we may suspend or close your account. Where practicable we will contact you first so you can respond. If we close a Premium account for a material breach, we refund only what the law requires.
If we ever discontinue the service, we will give account holders reasonable notice by email, and the export tools described in the privacy policy remain available through the notice period.
9. Disclaimer of warranties
The service is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that the engine's calibration reflects future market conditions.
If you are a consumer, nothing in this section or in these terms takes away rights that the law of your country gives you and that cannot be waived by contract, including EU rules on the conformity of digital services.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, our liability for any claim arising out of or related to the service is limited to the amount you have paid us for the service. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. This limit does not apply to damage we cause intentionally or through gross negligence, or to any liability that the law does not allow to be limited.
11. Your responsibility for misuse
If a third party brings a claim against us because of your breach of these terms or misuse of the service, you agree to compensate us for the losses and reasonable legal costs that your breach or misuse caused. This does not apply to ordinary use of the service as intended, and it applies only to the extent the mandatory law of your country of residence allows.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. Material changes will be communicated to account holders via email. Continued use of the service after a material change constitutes acceptance.
13. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by Greek law. Disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Athens, Greece. EU consumers retain all rights granted by mandatory consumer protection law in their country of residence.
Write to us first, because most things are faster to fix that way. If we cannot settle it between us, consumers in Greece may take the matter to the Consumer Ombudsman (synigoroskatanaloti.gr), and consumers elsewhere in the EU may use the equivalent body in their own country. We are not signed up to any alternative dispute resolution scheme, so this is your route rather than a promise of ours.
14. General
If any part of these terms turns out to be unenforceable, the rest remains in force. These terms, together with the privacy policy, are the entire agreement between us about the service. You may not transfer your rights under these terms to someone else; we may transfer ours to a successor that continues the service, and we will notify account holders if that happens. Sections 2, 7, 9, 10, 11, and 13 survive the closing of your account or the end of these terms.
